Awkwafina An American performer and actress, started by releasing a humorous rap track which dealt with the subject of sexual and race. Her fame grew into Hollywood following the release of an album of raps. Nora Lum is the daughter of Chinese as well as Korean parents from Forest Hills Queens. The trumpet was Nora's first instrument. Additionally, she was given the classical and jazz education later when she began to explore hip-hop as a teenager. While in college, she took classes in writing and women's studies. Then, she even had an hour studying Mandarin in Beijing. It wasn't until she graduated that she start focusing on music. My Vag, her song My Vag which was her response to Mickey Avalons My Dick, became a popular viral sensation via the Internet and was later featured on her debut album Yellow Ranger. The album also included popular hits that went viral, such as body positive Queef and the winking tour of her hometown NYC Bitche$. This track was directly linked into another venture Awkwafina's NYC Travel Guide, which was published in the year 2015. Apart from being a published author, her other career was singing. Apart from early series such as Girl Code and Tawk she was also featured in movies like Neighbors 2, Storks as well as Bad Rap. In the year 2018, she was offered several major roles like Dude Ocean's 8, or Crazy Rich Asians. In June, she released In Fina We Trust.
