Linda Edna Cardellini (n e Lorraine (Hernan) was the daughter of Wayne David Cardellini (a businessman) in Redwood City. She is of Italian, German (from the paternal grandmother), Irish and Scottish heritage. Linda is a native of San Francisco Bay and grew to be the youngest of four children. At the age of 10 she started to become attracted to acting after performing in school plays. Her school involvement continued with productions and community theater. Linda studied at Saint Francis High School Mountain View California. Following graduation, she was required to make a choice among New York, where she could pursue theater, and Los Angeles, where film and television were her options. The choice was LA. Linda was cast first as a character in Bone Chillers (1996). In 1999, she was offered her first role of major importance as Lindsay Weir in the series Freaks and Geeks. Lindsay Weir was her character in the Emmy-winning series.

Lily Chloe Ninette Thomson (born 5 April 1989) more popularly known as her stage title Lily James, is an English actor from England. She started her career as an actress in British actress in Just William (2010), which was a British show which aired on British television. Following her breakout performance in the role of Lady Rose MacClare on the period drama Downton Abbey between 2012 and 2015 her debut role was on the film of the same name, Cinderella in the year 2015. James later played the role of Countess Natasha Rostova as part of the adaptation of War & Peace (2016). She also starred in several films, including Baby Driver (2017) and The Dig -2021. We Go Again (2018) and Yesterday 2019 We Go again (2018) and Yesterday 2019 Pam & Tommy, a biographical series on television based upon Pamela Anderson's life Pamela Anderson (released in 2022) has earned her nominations as a Golden Globe Award winner and a Primetime Emmy Award.
